Flora Harvey Anderson
Flora Anderson Harvey was a sister of William Anderson, of Anderson’s Corner fame. She wrote down her reminiscences in the early 1960s about pioneer life here. This is a transcription of that story.
Lilburn R. Nixon purchased the claim of John Brinzell and later sold the northeast corner of 5 acres to William Anderson, who established Anderson’s Corner sometime after 1911. The Nixon family married into a number of other early families. This is a transcription of an article, with clarifications and additions by me, of a story he wrote for the Homestead Enterprise in 1918.
